We had the absolute honor of designing their bold, showstopping wedding florals at Franciscan Gardens, one of Orange County’s most romantic outdoor wedding venues. This California garden wedding was all about deep, moody tones and statement-making blooms, think rich burgundy hues, soft candlelight, and dramatic color contrasts. The bride stunned in white, the wedding party rocked black gowns, and let’s not forget the flower girls in their rich red velvet dresses. The impact? Unmatched.

This modern Palm Springs desert wedding at Casa Cody is the epitome of cool. I loved creating all of the floral designs for the couple of honor, Katie and Andrew! We work with local flower farms to source healthy, seasonal blooms. This not only supports our local economy but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with transporting flowers from distant locations.

As a floral designer, my goal is always to show you how easy colorful tones can be. Even one pop of color in your palette can balance out a look!

For the florals, I incorporated tones of pink, peach, burgundy, and especially red. In Chinese culture, red represents happiness, joy, vitality, and good luck. The color goes beyond just the appearance, so I wanted to be intentional to weave it into each floral design for this day.
