Chinese Inspired Wedding
COLOR PALETTE: Red, Pink, Peach, Burgundy
It was extremely important for the bride, Jessica, to incorporate her culture into her Chinese Inspired Wedding at The Casino San Clement. From our first call chatting about the floral vision for the day, I was so excited. For the florals, I incorporated tones of pink, peach, burgundy, and especially red. In Chinese culture, red represents happiness, joy, vitality, and good luck. The color goes beyond just the appearance, so I wanted to be intentional to weave it into each floral design for this day. You will see the beautiful culture transcend in every petal! Let’s take a look at this Chinese-inspired wedding at The Casino San Clemente together.
Bridal Details: A Traditional Chinese Wedding Dress
The intricate pattern with gold detail on the red fabric was truly stunning. For the ceremony, she changed into an elegant and minimal gown with a square neckline. I can’t get over how well her bouquet compliments her look. It was an honor to create such a personal piece for this bride to carry on her big day. The bold red tones in this bouquet are balanced with soft peach and delicate white flowers. This is a bouquet you never want to put down!
Wedding Ceremony At The Casino San Clemente
Fun fact: this was an entirely foam-free wedding. As a floral designer in the wedding industry, I know how important sustainability is. With the right vendors, you can obtain your wedding vision in an earth-friendly way. I am always seeking new ways to be creative while remaining committed to sustainable efforts. The outdoor space at The Casino San Clemente is breathtaking. The couple and I decided to add color to this space and mark the ceremony spot with florals. You can see the lush florals serving as aisle markers! Then, on the outdoor fireplace, I created a matching piece. Your wedding florals are often more than just for the aesthetics. These pieces were also practical, marking the location for Jessica and Daniel to say their “I dos”.
Wedding Party
I created red and peach bouquets along with matching boutonnieres for the wedding party. The group captured photos together after the ceremony. They kept their outfits chic while still showing off their personal styles. Don’t you love the various peach and pink dresses?
Wedding Couple
Since The Casino San Clemente is a seaside venue, the couple had to grab some photos at the beach! They couldn’t have gone at a better time. Look at those golden hour moments! You can see how all of those colors in Jessica’s bouquet and Daniel’s boutonniere stand out through the various lighting of the day. I wanted to make sure that this color palette did not get lost, regardless of the setting!
Wedding Reception
Finally, it was time for the couple to celebrate with their guests. They took the party indoors for the reception. Recognize the florals on the sweetheart table and on the stage? They are repurposed from the ceremony. This is another sustainable idea for your wedding decor. I continued to sprinkle in coordinating florals throughout the event. From the cocktail tables and cake to the guest tables, the flowers for this wedding definitely packed a punch.
