COLOR PALETTE: Navy, Yellow, Orange, Coral, Pink
Today, I am bringing all of the colorful wedding inspiration to you. While I love neutrals just as much as the next person, I often hear from couples that they are intimidated by adding bright colors to their design. As a floral designer, my goal is always to show you how easy colorful tones can be. Even one pop of color in your palette can balance out a look!
With an absolute dream team of vendors, we set out to create a modern and colorful styled wedding to inspire you. Bowties and Bouquets planned and conceptualized this wedding inspiration and Peterson Design and Photography captured the photoshoot. This design turned out even better than we could have anticipated! In fact, it has also been featured on Green Wedding Shoes. Be sure to read this blog before checking it out there! This invitation suite truly introduces this bold design! The creative shapes and colors are just a preview of the exciting look you are about to see. Every piece of this styled wedding was considered down to the background for the flat lay photos. Of course, every detail photo deserved to have some florals in the mix. I carefully selected florals that not only match the palette but provide texture and romance. How fun are the slices of citrus with the flowers?
If you are planning an intimate wedding, you definitely don’t have to skip out on the decor. In fact, this often provides more room in your budget for this aspect of your big day. The vendor team and I had a blast creating this table design. The colorful napkins, floral centerpieces, and citrus incorporated the bold palette. Then, the neutral linen, modern layered plates, and gold silverware highlighted all of those eye-catching tones. The balance of contemporary pieces with the playful elements is so unique. This tablescape feels luxurious without taking itself too seriously!
Now, let’s all take a moment to admire this cake together. The painted, color-swatching design makes this cake a piece of art. I added a shallow vase of lush florals in pink, yellow, and orange hues and tapered candles to complete the cake table. The crisp white linen and background make all of that color stand out. Thank you, Half Baked Co. for creating this Pinterest-worthy cake.
Now, let’s step outside at Forme Los Angeles for the ceremony. How cool is this industrial space? I need to see more of these color-blocked ceremony backdrops. Fun fact: the backdrop is made completely out of streamers, making this suitable for many different budgets. The warm and bright tones are giving me all of the summer wedding inspiration! For the florals, I added two complementing pieces to tie everything together. Do you spot those acrylic ceremony chairs? They may look familiar because they were also used in the table design. Incorporating similar florals, colors, and rentals throughout each wedding day creates a cohesive look.
It wouldn’t be a wedding inspiration without a focus on the couple! The models did a fantastic job bringing this vision to life. I created a hot coral, pink, and yellow bouquet for the bridal outfit. A simple yellow boutonniere looked dazzling with the mauve groom tux! I hope this unique wedding inspiration sparks your creativity as you plan your own wedding! I would love to help make your floral dreams a reality. Contact our team today to get started! We can’t wait to hear from you.
