Nestled in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, we brought a wedding to life with stunning pastel-inspired florals. This Southern California wedding unfolded at Franciscan Gardens in Orange County, providing an idyllic backdrop for a romantic, secluded wedding.
We curated visually stunning pastel-inspired florals that infused pops of color into every aspect of the wedding day. Rich purples, bright oranges to soft pinks and sunny yellows, we selected each shade to create a modern pastel paradise.
We embraced vibrant colors along with pastel-inspired wedding florals when we designed this bridal bouquet. Consequently, our creation exuded both romance and elegance. We were excited to include a selection of gorgeous summer flowers:
The soft pastel shades infused the bouquet with elegance and texture. The lush dahlias added depth and richness to the arrangement with dancing lisianthus offering movement and interest.
A beautiful natural silk ribbon added the finishing touch to this summer bridal bouquet.
Color-blocking wedding party attire makes a striking impact. When paired with pastel wedding flowers, the effect is even more captivating.
The wedding party wore gorgeous shades of corals and mauve, enhancing the stunning pastel hues of the wedding party personals. Summer, being dahlia season, allowed us to include textural dahlias in shades of pink and salmon.
We designed the boutonnieres to be textural and interesting, each one slightly different.
For that extra oomph, we finished the wedding party florals with hand-dyed silk ribbon from Tono & Co.
We placed the grounded floral arch at the altar. This growing garden meadow, created a backdrop for the couple to exchange their wedding vows.
For height, we created the garden meadow aesthetic using sky blue delphinium and locally grown purple larkspur. We sourced peach color dahlias, lavender lisianthus, and coral ranunculus for added depth, interest, and elegance.
Additionally, the eye-catching aisle caps served as a beautiful introduction to the ceremony space. We brought a modern yet timeless touch to the wedding ceremony by placing the flower arrangements on modern white pedestals. Using vibrant flowers in the aisle cap arrangements, designed in white ceramic compote vases, to add height. Blooms complemented those used in the grounded wedding arch. Pops of pink from dinner plate dahlias were added along with trailing jasmine vine for movement.
We were excited to incorporate suspended multiple disco balls throughout the pergola. They made for a truly impactful and unique ambiance. The disco balls were adorned with lush, seasonal florals providing a unique backdrop for the wedding reception.
The table-scapes featured an abundance of florals, strategically arranged to complement the suspended disco balls. For the longer tables, larger centerpieces were used to ensure a full and lush appearance throughout. Soft pink taper candles added a warm glow to the evening. The crisp white linens allowed the vibrant colors of the florals to pop against the beautiful setting of Franciscon Gardens.
Guests were welcomed to the wedding with a flower box welcome sign. The flower box is an alternative to the wedding welcome table and we’re here for it!
The flower-adorned signage, personalized with the couple’s names and wedding date was nestled among taller blooms and greenery. The welcome sign is a memorable first impression, signaling the start of a wedding day filled with love and celebration.
Rentals were provided by Archive Rentals from their exquisite inventory.
We love to be able to repurpose the wedding ceremony flowers within the reception.
After the wedding ceremony, we strategically moved the flowers to key areas of the reception venue. The grounded wedding arch was placed in front of the sweetheart table as a dramatic focal point. This allows for continuity with the wedding decor and ensures that the overall design feels cohesive and intentional
None of this would have been possible without the incredible talent and expertise of our vendors.
