It’s time for a romantic outdoor garden wedding at Franciscan Gardens. This is a popular wedding trend that I believe is here to stay. The opportunity to celebrate your love in such a romantic outdoor setting is irresistible. Today we are going to the Franciscan Gardens for an absolute dream of a day. This elevated garden venue is located in San Juan Capistrano, California. An abundance of lush foliage and elegant architecture with a hint of old-world charm creates this unique space.
I desired to highlight the beauty of this venue with the florals while forming a one-of-a-kind look for the couple. If you adore neutrals, you are going to want to see these colors! The peaches and cream tones added an extra once of magic to this design. Peach is such an approachable color if you are seeking ways to adventure slightly outside of your comfort zone. Don’t just take my word for it! Keep reading to check out this romantic outdoor wedding at Franciscan Gardens.
The bride’s bouquet filled with peach and cream roses, sweet mini daisies, and fresh eucalyptus embodies the design for this day! It is romantic and natural with a modern touch for this outdoor wedding. I tied a simple peach ribbon around the bouquet to complete this essential wedding accessory! The tile at the venue happened to offer a matching backdrop for detail photography.
The amazing photographer for this day, Joey Reger did a wonderful job capturing this day! I brought along some extra blooms to compliment the flat lay photo of the stationery as well.
The ceremony took place in the outdoor courtyard with breathtaking greenery surrounding the space. To decorate the ceremony, I created a wooden circle arch design wrapped with flowers. The florals almost appear like they are growing from the ground. The arch is designed to feel perfectly a part of the space while drawing your attention to the celebrated couple! As punctuation to this design, I added matching floral markers, guiding your eye down the aisle.
The couple captured photos with their wedding party after the ceremony! Look how chic this group’s fashion is. Each bridesmaid received a matching bouquet in a similar design to the bride’s. Then, each groomsman wore matching boutonnieres in either peach or cream!
Now let’s take a moment to admire the lovely couple. You can feel how kind and loving they are through these photos. They kept their outfits bright and neutral. Even their pups looked super stylish! I had so much fun designing a floral accessory for one of the dogs to wear.
This romantic outdoor reception included the repurposed ceremony arch and florals! Then, I added fresh floral pieces to the guest tables. From the boho lanterns and fountain to the artistic cake, there were so many special features to take in.
Are you not quite ready to leave this garden wedding? I don’t blame you! After taking another look (or two, or three) through this day, I have some more inspiration for you. Check out this Bridgerton-inspired wedding design next that also takes place in a garden!
