COLOR PALETTE: Mauve, Emerald Green, Purple, Burgundy
Don’t get me wrong, I love a unique wedding arch and ceremony design. There is just something so special about the reception decor. I mean, the tablescapes are a creative dream where the vision for the wedding truly shines! If you are planning your reception details, you are going to want to see the wedding I am sharing with you today. Let’s take a look at this modern and playful Los Angeles wedding with jewel tones in this post!
The couple and their wedding party are incredibly cool and stylish. The bridesmaids wore elegant jewel tones including emerald and shades of mauve. The groomsmen’s navy suits complemented these looks effortlessly. Look at how unique their printed ties are! I created bouquets for the bridesmaids including deeper shades of purple and matching mauve to pop against their attire. The groomsmen wore minimalistic boutonnieres to match.
Now, let’s talk about the bride and groom’s style. I still can’t get over the bride’s romantic strapless dress. She looked breathtaking with a pink, purple, and mauve bouquet to complete her look. I tied the bouquet with matching ribbons. The bride and I decided to let these ribbons hang lower than the floral stems to highlight the wedding colors even more. The groom wore the same suit as his groomsmen and he looked super chic!
If you love these wedding attire and accessory ideas but aren’t sure where to find inspiration for your big day, I recommend starting with Pinterest. This is a great place to start that will help you determine what you do and do not like! You can organize your ideas into different boards and share them with your vendors. As a floral designer, I understand that having a visual example of your preferences is helpful. This is a wonderful platform to utilize during the earlier stages of your planning process.
Now it is time to go over this dream of a reception space! The modern industrial setting combined with the tropical florals onsite offered the backdrop for the reception. I added delicate floral arrangements to every tablescape. The purple hues in this jewel tone palette stood as the majority of the decor. The hints of green added that natural element needed in this design. I added some florals to every part of the reception – even the dessert table. Every detail is accounted for!
While guests enjoyed an intimate cocktail hour in this space that makes you never want to leave, the couple captured some more photos. Here you can really get a sense of the couple’s personality. Say hello to newlywed photos in the city! That fur vest was so fun for this moment. They even found a bright red wall to go with their aesthetic. Of course, they brought that stunning bouquet along for these moments.
If you are planning your Los Angeles or California wedding, I would love to connect with you! I can’t wait to hear your story and chat about the floral vision for your day.
